The previous Meridian Spa becomes Sports Club. The North German premium fitness studio is currently completely redesigning the 4,214 sq m of fitness space that Meridian Spa rented until the end of June. Among other things, new high-quality equipment is being installed and a large free weights area is being set up. The opening of the new Sports Club location is planned for October.
“By letting the space to Sports Club, we have succeeded in letting the space at an attractive rent without transition. With Sports Club as a new anchor tenant, not only our center benefits, but also Kiel’s city center,” says Vivien Betzold, Asset Manager Retail Germany at Union Investment.
The Sophienhof shopping center is one of the largest shopping centers in northern Germany. It has been part of the portfolio of the UniImmo: Deutschland open-ended mutual real estate fund since 2012.
