Spanish luxury brand Loewe is world’s hottest brand for the first time according to lyst index

Lyst is a fashion technology company and premium shopping app used by more than 200 million people each year to discover and purchase items from brands and stores. The Lyst Index is published quarterly and represents the hottest fashion brands compared to the previous quarter.

The Spanish brand, under creative mastermind Jonathan Anderson, has risen a full 13 places to No. 1 in the past 12 months. Searches in the last quarter are up 19% – probably because of Kylie Jenner, who wore the Anagram tank top. But the basket bag is also experiencing cult status years after its release.
Loewe has succeeded in skillfully conveying its commitment to craftsmanship and thus attracting the attention of different customer groups, including online.

In 1872, Enrique Loewe (as German-born Heinrich Loewe Rössberg was known in Spain) founded E. Loewe S.A, based in Madrid. In the same year, Loewe opened his first sales store for leather goods. In the second generation, under the leadership of Enrique Loewe Hinton (1879-1934), son of the founder, the company became a Spanish purveyor to the court in 1905. Since 1996, Loewe has been part of the luxury goods group LVMH.
