Swarovski expands its product range with fine jewellery collection from Created Diamonds

In addition to Austria, Germany and France, Italy and Great Britain the Fine Jewellery collection will also be available in China, Korea, Japan, Australia and United Arab Emirates.

Lab-grown diamonds will gain importance in the future and represent a strategic growth category for Swarovski. To verify the quality of each stone, the company partnered with the International Gemological Institute (IGI), which will certify all lab-grown diamonds in the collection. The institute has about 50 years of experience and is expected to support to increase the confidence of buyers. The artificially developed diamonds are 100% identical to mined diamonds, but the history of their creation is completely different. Also all chemical, optical and physical properties are the same, the nature imitated due to the manufacturing process is considered more environmentally friendly

As a logical step, the lab-grown diamonds will in future be offered as a separate “Fine Jewellery” collection in selected stores in addition to B2B sales.

Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert is responsible for the design of the “Galaxy” collection. The collection will be launched in the USA and Canada on September 18, 2023.
