Swedish bakery brand Fabrique opens first new café concept in Designers Guild on London’s King’s Road

The King’s Road branch of Designers Guild offers indoor and outdoor spaces where visitors can express their creativity with the products, plus enjoy a high-end café experience all under one roof.

Founded in 2008 by David and Charlotta Zetterstrom, Fabrique is already present in London, Stockholm and New York, offering baked goods of the highest quality and authenticity. The artisan sourdough products are baked in stone ovens, giving the brand its signature touch. Frabrique’s new cafe concept at the Designers Guild flagship store at 267-277 King’s Road invites visitors to enjoy a high-quality dining experience as well as linger.

Charlotta Zetterstrom, founder of Fabrique, commented on the opening, “The collaboration with The Designers Guild is our first café concept in a retail store and something very new for us. The location on King’s Road and the reputation of Designers Guild make this move so exciting for us. We look forward to being a part of the community and increasing Fabrique’s presence in West London.”

Hannah Grievson, Property Director at Sloane Stanley, added: “Designers Guild is a cornerstone of the Sloane Stanley estate, and with a heritage of over 53 years on King’s Road, we are delighted to add another alternative element to its offering. Fabrique’s core values of authenticity and genuineness reflect and complement the entire estate and will appeal to a wide range of our target audience. We are excited that the successful bakery concept that many know and love has chosen King’s Road for this concept and the opportunities it presents for the wider community.”
