Evolutionary development to secure the location: Dreieich Nordpark, located around ten kilometers south of Frankfurt am Main and a central supply location for the residents of Dreieich and the Offenbach district, has been extensively modernized – and a number of new tenants have also been added to the location’s offering.

VIA Outlets has initiated a development project to expand the sales area of its Landquart Fashion Outlet in the Greater Zurich Region by around a quarter, as premium retail brands follow European consumers and shift their focus from full-price retail on the high street to the outlet center format in search of greater value and volumes.

City Outlet Geislingen with over 40 home, fashion & lifestyle brands in 25 stores is being expanded to include four new stores. Construction work will begin in July 2024 and the opening is planned for late summer 2025.

Since opening in 2016, Avion has grown to become one of northern Sweden’s most popular destinations for retail, leisure, and food experiences. Now, the next step is being taken when Ingka Centres begins the first phase of the expansion of Avion Shopping. As Umeå grows, the meeting place will be expanded by 12,000 sqm with the goal of continuing to be a vibrant local meeting place with positive experiences in focus. The project is estimated to cost approximately 31 million euros and will be completed in autumn 2025.

The real estate market is truly gaining pace after two years of slowdown. The opening is planned for spring 2025.

Following a customer-centric approach, the ‘Trading-Up’ strategy carried out by ROS Retail Outlet Shopping across its entire portfolio has achieved full potential in 2023. In particular, the Polish centers managed by the operator have registered up to 20 new openings, occupying a total gross lettable area of 3,000 sq m. Expectations in the Polish market are also on the rise with the anticipated center extension of Designer Outlet Gdańsk, which is scheduled to open by the end of 2024.

NEPI Rockcastle, Europe’s third-largest listed retail real estate company and the biggest owner and operator of shopping centers across CEE markets by value, is to invest around 600 million Euro in its development and asset refurbishment pipeline to meet strong demand from retailers aiming to tap into the region’s increasingly affluent consumer base.

Start of construction and strong letting success for the new “Food Garden” in the Main-Taunus-Zentrum: In November, construction work began on the new highlight in the middle of the shopping center – a high-quality and varied range of restaurants with five free-standing restaurant buildings, partly covered and partly open terraces, green outdoor areas and sophisticated architecture. The opening is planned for spring 2025.
