The challenges facing the retail real estate sector are more significant than ever. Future-oriented solutions for retail properties such as retail parks are urgently needed – this is precisely where the Retail PIN comes in. Over the last few years, retail parks in Poland were mostly developed in smaller formats, around 5,000 s m, either adding to the existing retail landscape or introducing modern retail amenities to smaller towns as their first such facilities. Now, there’s a noticeable shift towards larger developments, with 32 bigger retail parks (GLA > 5,000 sq m.) either being built or expanded, including six that exceed 20,000 sq m.

The new properties are located in Zambrów and Krakow. The investment total amounts to 16.4 million euros and the retail properties cover effective floor area of about 11,000 sq m.

Trei Real Estate GmbH (“Trei”), an international developer
and asset holder for residential and retail real estate, just opened another three retail parks of
the Vendo Park brand in Poland.

On behalf of the property owner, ambas Real Estate GmbH has successfully let 5,000 sq m of space of the York-Center retail park in Münster to the french sporting goods manufacturer and retailer DECATHLON.
