The fruit gummies and licorice specialist opened its tenth Haribo Deutschland store on 212 sq m at Westfield Centro in Oberhausen. In addition to the well-known products and merchandise, customers can look forward to a candy bar with a pick & mix station.

BIG was founded in 1994. The company made a name for itself through the development and operation of shopping centers and retail parks, mainly in Serbia and the neighboring countries. AG Real Estate is on the verge of completing the extensive renovation and extension works it started in 2019 in Westland Shopping Center in Anderlecht (Belgium). The program includes the arrival of a large department store and a number of new retailers, the expansion of the Food & Beverage offer, and the creation of a leisure center of over 4,000 sq m.

Citycon has signed an agreement to sell two non-core shopping centers in Norway for approximately €145.4 million. According to the agreement, Citycon will divest Buskerud center to Aurora Eiendom AS and Magasinet center to Oslo Opportunity II AS and Vedal Investor AS. The transaction is estimated to close during Q1/2022.

Atrium Ljungberg has signed a lease contract for more than 1,700 sq m with Sabis, which is going to be expanding this spring and will open the new food store ‘Hemköp Sickla’ inside the shopping center Sickla Galleria.

As of March 1, SES is filling the center management of two shopping malls in Austria from its own ranks: Doris Panagl will take over the management of Max.Center Wels, Marie-Theres Skribanowitz will manage Mariandl in Krems. Long-time center manager Egbert Holz, who has been responsible for both centers since they opened, will retire in the spring after 23 years of service.

MVGM has been commissioned with the center management for Lili in Wiesbaden. The mixed-use object in the Hessian capital covers an area of around 37,000 sq m. The former Lilien-Carré has been named Lili since 2019 and owned by a fund sponsored by Orion Capital Managers since the end of 2014.

In total, Sonae Sierra signed 30 new leases in six locations: for Alexa in Berlin, Mercaden in Boblingen, Mercado, Quarrée Wandsbek, and Ottensen commercial building in Hamburg, and Munster Arkaden in Munster. In addition, more than 30 contract extensions and agreements for pop-up stores were achieved.

As strategic partner, the Hahn Group has accompanied the acquisition of the Krohnstieg Center by a special fund affiliated with Ampega Investment GmbH. The seller of the property is Hamburg-based HBB, with iMallinvest Europe GmbH acting as the transaction advisor.
