Top European Real Estate professionals will meet at The District, the main event designed exclusively for and by Real Estate capital, which will take place from September 25 to 27 in Barcelona, Spain.
As part of the conference, the World-Class District Awards will highlight the most relevant success stories of the last year and recognize the funds, teams and territories that have proven to be the best at closing deals, developing projects and meeting ESG criteria. Corporations, investors and regions from all over the world can submit their nominations for the awards until August 30.
The World-Class District Awards 2024, which last year attracted more than a hundred entries, will have five categories aimed at stimulating dynamism in Real Estate:
- Real Estate Operation of the Year: will award the deal more than €20 million that has achieved exceptional profitability for its investors and whose essential supporting data can be publicly disclosed.
- Real Estate Investment Destination: will recognize the territory that is implementing the most appropriate policies to create a favorable legal, economic, and social ecosystem for Real Estate, with the purpose of attracting and boosting real estate projects and transactions.
- Real Estate Operation with the Greatest ESG Impact: will distinguish the operation that has made a significant effort to comply with sustainability, social and good governance principles, or has developed exemplary solutions in this area.
- Real Estate Fund, Management Company, or Investment Group: will highlight the team that has made a significant contribution to the execution of investment or divestment maneuvers in the real estate market.
- Best Real Estate Project or Development: will award the project or investment completed or not yet built, which seeks the best opportunities for the real estate sector considering NZEB (‘Nearly Zero Energy Buildings’) or Net Zero Emissions criteria.
The awards are aimed at funds, private equity, organizations, corporations, cities, analysts, technology parks, business schools, universities, startups, and accelerators that promote innovation and continuous development in Real Estate.
