Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany to cooperate with Visual Art

Center operator Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany and the Swedish Digital-Out-of-Home (DOOH) provider Visual Art have been working together since the beginning of January 2019.

Visual Art is one of the world’s leading companies for digital communication. The company distinguishes itself in particular through holistic marketing strategies from conception to technical implementation. The aim of the cooperation is to use the digital advertising formats in the centers to promote and design individual shopping experiences. Thus, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield underlines again the trend-setting marketing approach of the company.

“The untapped potential of digital media represents an opportunity throughout the shopping destinations managed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield“, says Paul-Eric Perchaud, Director of Operations at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany. “We are pleased to have found an innovative and creative partner for this challenge in Visual Art, with a strong track record in the Nordics. We look forward to further implement our ambitious plans and ideas into our centers and thus to offer added value for our business partners through our digital network.“

The companies have initially planned their cooperation to the period from 2019 to 2023. A total of 400 DOOH-surfaces will be filled with content in 15 German shopping centers, including Pasing Arcaden in Munich, Höfe am Brühl and Paunsdorf Center in Leipzig, Düsseldorf Arcaden and Gropius Passagen in Berlin.

“We are of course very honored and excited over the fact that Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, with whom we already have a successful Swedish partnership, entrusts us with a major market as Germany. It goes to show that our history of revolutionizing and disrupting the DOOH market is internationally valid. Introducing our DOOH concept in Germany is an important step in our international expansion“, says Andreas Lind, CEO, Visual Art Group.

From a higher-level perspective, the cooperation with Visual Art for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is also part of the comprehensive refurbishment strategy of the existing portfolio in the German market. In the sense of a holistic project development, the company pursues the goal of continuously optimising the areas of design and marketing as well as the tenant mix. Within these single disciplines Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield works together with renowned specialists within the framework of strategic partnerships in order to be able to offer the highest standards and the most innovative solutions in every area.
