This summer, 140 flower compositions are set to be showcased across the city, after being voted as the most popular summer decorations by the city’s social media followers. The flower arrangements feature a mix of gerberas, lilies, peonies, tulips, daffodils, and many other flower species, comprising a total of 18,500 flowers.
These unique floral motifs add an extra charm with the aim to attract locals and tourists, and to improve the appearance of public areas close to the city´s retail, gastronomy, and service providers.
A total of 60 flower balls of two different sizes are installed, measuring from 80 cm to 100 cm, and strung up on 800 linear meters of steel cable. The flower arrangements will be hanging until the end of October, before being replaced by the Christmas lights.
