Bart van Twillert, Country Manager, The Netherlands at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield: “We are delighted to formally announce the opening date of Westfield Mall of the Netherlands on March 18, 2021. There is still confidence in physical retail. With four months to go before the opening we are 85% pre-let; despite the challenges posed by the current pandemic. As the only global brand in the industry, Westfield continues to attract the best retailers and those we reveal today will offer an incredible integrated brand experience in an environment with a unique mix of retail, dining, entertainment and events. We are seeing that COVID-19 has accelerated the transition to omnichannel retailing for many brands and partnering with Westfield enables them to deliver the seamless premium experience their customer craves.”
