The fashion store now covers more than 3,000 square meters and presents the latest women’s, men’s and children’s collections as well as a completely new athletic department. The aim is to create a holistic shopping experience and thus the shop combines stationary and digital in one place.
SES shopping centers are pioneers when it comes to innovative concepts. After several months of renovation work, the popular fashion label Zara is opening its most modern flagship store in Austria in EUROPARK Salzburg. Zara has been active at the site since the EUROPARK expansion in 2005.
“We are pleased about the expansion of the Zara range in the EUROPARK Salzburg over twice the area. That is a strong statement for stationary retail. The Zara brand shows how to combines the digital world with the real world,” says Christoph Andexlinger, COO of SES Spar European Shopping Centers.
State-of-the-art technology
Service and state-of-the-art technology are the top priorities in the fashion label’s new store. The Zara app offers a “Store Mode” function, which customers can also use to browse the store virtually and collect their order from the store within two hours. Through the app it is possible to book fitting rooms and find items in the store. The new flagship store in the SES center also has automated pick-up points for online orders, self-service checkouts and exclusive areas for returns.
