Zara opens one of the brand’s largest flagship stores at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier

Inditex and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) are strengthening their strategic partnership and taking the Spanish fashion company’s presence in Germany to a new level.

With a flagship format, Zara opens one of the largest stores of the fashion brand. It was also agreed that further Inditex brands will strengthen the fashion and lifestyle profile of the flagship destination Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. Fashion trends for women, men and children: Zara will implement its latest store and design concept at its flagship branch in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, with a special focus on digital and omnichannel services.

The fact that Zara will open one of its largest stores and that other Inditex brands will also move into largescale spaces fits perfectly into this strategy and once again emphasises the attractiveness and appeal of the location. We are delighted about this pioneering cooperation at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier and the further expansion of our strategic partnership with Inditex.”

Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier: Modern urbanity for Hamburg

In Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier in Hamburg’s HafenCity district, a total of 14 buildings are under construction for a new vibrant destination with outstanding architecture and a unique mix of uses. Retail, entertainment concepts and more than 40 gastronomy units are closely coordinated with offices for around 4,000 workplaces, three hotels, a cruise ship terminal and a total of 579 apartments. The quarter is optimally integrated into the local infrastructure with its own metro station, bus lines and various mobility services. The mixed-used project comprises a total area of 419,000 square metres and will be executed by Unibail-RodamcoWestfield with a total investment of more than one billion euro.
