IPH Transact has bundled and strengthened its own expertise in the field of acquisitions and sales by appointing Roman Zwolinski as Head of Transactions Germany.
In his new position, he will actively consult clients such as fund managers, institutional investors or family offices throughout Germany in the sourcing, due diligence and execution of transactions in the high-street, shopping center and retail park segments.

YIT Corporation’s Board of Directors has appointed Tuomas Mäkipeska (43, M.Sc. in Economics) as YIT’s Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Management Team. He shall take over his position latest at the beginning of February 2022.
Tuomas Mäkipeska is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Facility Services division at Lassila & Tikanoja Plc. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Group CFO, as well as Interim CEO of Lassila & Tikanoja Plc.

CBRE Global Investors announced the recent appointment of Adam Cummins, as the new Centre Manager at leading London leisure and retail destination, Angel Central. He joins the team at Lambert Smith Hampton, appointed by CBRE Global Investors as the managing agents for the destination.
Adam has over 18 years’ experience in standalone, multi-site, and area manager roles and joins the team from Selfridges London where he managed a £56m retail business within the iconic department store. His vast retail experience includes previously managing stores for Tiffany & Co and Charles Tyrwhitt, and is well-versed in driving performance through commercial actions, and enhancing team engagement and development.

The Board has nominated George Aase as Chairman of the Board, effective 18 August 2021. Rudiger Dany has been contracted by the Company from 6 July 2021 and will be appointed as Chief Operations Officer of NEPI Rockcastle effective 18 August 2021.
George Aase is an experienced CFO and non-executive in publicly traded real estate firms, technology companies and Fortune 100 U.S. multinational industrial firms. He is a highly strategic and business-oriented senior finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Aase’s core specialties include corporate finance, capital markets, IPO transactions, debt financing, international financial operations, international finance and controlling, and investor relations, with 12 years’ experience in the European commercial real estate sector. He led the process of two major initial public offering projects in London and Frankfurt.

CBRE appointed Jakub Štěpán the new Head of the CEE Valuation Department effective from 1 July.
In his new role, Jakub will mainly focus on business development activities, building and maintaining client relationships, the coordination of CEE Valuation teams and he will be also responsible for overseeing international valuation transactions throughout the entire region. In addition to the new role, he remains the Head of Valuation for the Czech Republic.

Jaap brings over 25 years’ worth of global experience from the real estate and finance industries, having most recently spent 11 years at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, of which more than eight years as Group Chief Financial Officer, where he was also a member of its Management Board. Prior to URW, Jaap spent over 14 years at Morgan Stanley & Co. in London and New York, most recently as a Managing Director in its Leverage Finance team. Jaap is particularly experienced in commercial real estate and corporate finance, capital markets and transactions. He was also recently appointed an advisor to the Board of Directors of Dutch lifestyle and hotel company citizenM.

Working closely with the wider team, Nick’s role will be focussed on driving the performance of the company’s schemes and boosting the efficiency of the operational management across ESTAMA UK’s diverse portfolio.
With over 30 years’ experience working in the commercial property sector, Nick joins from intu where he headed the Partnerships, Food & Beverage and Leisure across 16 intu centres. As the key customer contact, Nick was responsible for enhancing the experience of visitors along with delivering financial aims, attracting new brands and engaging with customers.

Shelley Sandzer has promoted Tony Levine to Director of Leasing. Tony will work alongside joint-Managing Partner, Ted Schama, in representing leading landlords in securing new F&B and leisure brands for their destinations.
Since joining Shelley Sandzer in 2016, Tony has acted for numerous clients, such as Landsec, Lendlease, Shaftesbury Estate, Hines and Portman Estate. An e-sports specialist, Tony has also helped Wanyoo launch in the UK, and is currently assisting the brand with its expansion plans.
Prior to joining Shelley Sandzer, Tony worked for Altus Group, as well as stints with BNP Paribas, DTZ and CBRE following his graduation from the University of the West of England and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor.

LaSalle creates new European transactions and asset management team.
The newly created European Transactions & Asset Management unit, headed by Paris-based Beverley Kilbride, will facilitate cross-border knowledge-sharing within a unified team responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assets. It draws on executives from across the firm’s largest offices in Europe including London, Paris and Munich.
Under the reforms, individual team members will focus on specific services and local markets, with four Heads of Transactions reporting directly into Beverley Kilbride: Jérôme Hamelin, Andreas Wesner, Francesco Coviello and Robin James, who will respectively be responsible for all acquisitions and sales in Western Continental Europe, Northern Continental Europe, Southern Continental Europe & CEE, and the UK & Ireland.
